Anthornis Event-2011 for advanding(ed) ringers

Dave Harris, from the Raleigh Ringers, will be the conductor of the 4th annual Anthornis Event for advanced(ing) ringers. Keep watching for more details. The repertoire list can be downloaded as a separate file.

Friday night will be the sight-reading session of more challenging music.  7:00-9:00p.m.

Saturday will start at 8:30 a.m. with massed rehearsal, concluding with a 4:00 p.m. concert, open free to the public. Participating choirs are invited to perform 1-2 solo pieces during the concert.

Participants must come to the event with music purchased and their ringing position learned. This will enable the most productive time to refine the musicality with Dave Harris.

Registration deadline is December 31, 2010.
Official Anthornis attire (shirt, cap, scarf) will be available to order.

The Anthornis event will be held annually on the 1st weekend prior to President's Day weekend in February.
