June 19-22, 2008 Thur-Sunday Sioux Falls, South Dakota Cost: $200 Information Contact: Alanna Teragawa, festivalchair@areaviiagehr.org, 612-819-5778 Registrar: Jessica Westgard, registrar@areaviiagehr.org, 701-281-4588 Website: http://www.areaviiagehr.org/areafestival.php Past Event Scrapbook: 2006 Area VII Festival Conference Plans are underway for the next Festival Conference being held at the Convention Center in Sioux Falls, SD. http://www.siouxfallscvb.com/conventionCenter.cfm Check-in will be Thursday the 19th, rehearsals and classes, ending with a final 1:30pm concert, open to the public, on Sunday the 22nd. A variety of fun events are being planned for the Friday night activity. Read one of the attachments below which explains what an 'un-conference' is, hosted by the Handbell Podcast guys on Thursday. Clinicians will be Michael Helman and Debbie Rice. There will be one scholarship awarded for this event. Watch this page for future postings about the Festival. All registrations will be done through the online process. If you are sure you're going, but don't know all the specifics yet, i.e. which choir members are going, their T-shirt size, or the classes they want to take, you are encouraged to start the registration process now. You can make any changes to your registration entries up through May 1st.
